TypingWeb Intranet requires a server running PHP5+ and MySQL 4+. Students and managers require only a modern web browser such as Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, or Internet Explorer 7+.
Installation Notes
1) Unzip TypingWeb Files
Unzip the TypingWeb package into a folder in your web server's document root or folder of your choice.
2) Verify Web Server Settings
Your web server must allow .htaccess files to run. On apache, the directive is "AllowOverride All". This may be enabled by default. For IIS servers, you must create rewrite rules directly to your server:
3) Install the "ixed" file to your PHP configuration file.
Open your web browser and visit the directory you installed to. An error message may alert you about an "ixed" file, which is a PHP module and must be enabled as an extension in your PHP installation.
You can simply follow the instructions on screen to load the extension. You may have to edit your php.ini configuration file.

3 Go to Your Installation
Refresh your web browser. You will be redirected to the installer. If not, you can access by pointing your browser to /install/
A limited number of user accounts can be created, however all users can access TypingWeb simultaneously and once a user has finished the course the account can be given to another user.
