Keys

This section is a different type of practice drill. Choose a set of "Practice Keys" from the dropdown and follow the "To Type" letter in the middle, or just type whatever keys you need to work on and watch the "Screen Keyboard" light up.

Practice Keys
Choose the keys you wish to have show in the "To Type" box in the middle.

All Keys
Each key on the on-screen keyboard will be randomly displayed in the "To Type" box. This includes all symbols and accented characters for non-us keyboard layouts.

Problem Keys
Once TypingWeb has learned which keys give you trouble, you may use this option to work on those keys only. Take advantage of this feature!

Letters Only
By far the most common keys to press are the letter keys. Selecting this option only brings up letters A through Z.

Numbers & Symbols
The toughest keyboard areas to learn is the number row with its associated symbols and punctuation. Use this option to work this difficult area.

Other Rows
You may also practice just keys from the top, home, and bottom rows.

Keyboard Layout
If the keyboard layout does not match your keyboard, click to the Options section, where you can change your keyboard layout.
